1. Working principle:

Electromagnetic flow meter transmitter is a flowmeter that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to accurately measure and monitor the flow of conductive liquid in pipelines. It consists of a sensor consisting of two electromagnets that generate a magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of flow, and a conducting fluid passed through it.

 

When the fluid flows through the magnetic field, it cuts the magnetic field lines and generates a voltage proportional to the fluid flow rate. The sensor then converts this voltage into a signal that is sent to the converter.

 

A transmitter connected to the sensor amplifies the signal and converts it into a linear output proportional to the flow rate.
This type of flow meter is highly accurate and reliable, and is suitable for a variety of liquids including acids, alkalis and slurries, sewage, and wastewater. It is also unaffected by changes in fluid density, viscosity and temperature.

It has strong acid corrosion resistance and resistance to non-oxidizing acids, such as mixtures of nitric acid, chromic acid and sulfuric acid; antioxidant salts, such as hypochlorite solution, seawater and other oxidants.

Titanium

Resistant to seawater, various chlorides, hypochlorites, oxidizing acids (including nitrosonic acid), organic acids, alkali, etc.;

Tantalum

Good corrosion resistant property, similar with glass; it could almost resist all chemical mediums(including boiling hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid below 175C), but not hydrofluoric acid, strong sulfuric acid and alkali.

Stainless steel coated with tungsten carbide

It has strong wear resistance and is usually used in liquids containing sediment or even small solid particles, but it is not resistant to corrosion.

 

5. Sensor internal structure:

 

The sensor of the magnetic flow meter transmitter is mainly composed of a measuring tube, an excitation system, an electrode, a housing and a junction box.

 

Measuring tube: The measuring tube is located in the center of the sensor and the fluid flows through it. It is welded by acid-resistant stainless steel pipes and flanges, with an insulating lining inside.

 

Excitation system: Mainly composed of excitation coil and magnetic yoke, which generates working magnetic field.

Electrode: A flow signal will be generated after the electrode comes into contact with the medium to be measured, so it is important to select a suitable electrode material. The selection of the electrode is determined based on the performance of the medium to be measured.

 

Shell: plays the role of support, protection and sealing. Terminal box: Located on top of the sensor, the internal terminal block connects the sensor to the converter. Protection levels can be divided into: IP65, IP67, IP68

 

6.Internal coil:
