1. Product overview

JYLDE series intelligent High pressure electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument that measures the volume flow of conductive medium in the pipe according to Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. It adopts single-chip embedded technology to realize digital excitation. While satisfying on-site display, the electromagnetic flowmeter can also output 4-20mA current signal, MODBUS, HART, pulse output, etc. for recording, adjustment and control, and has been widely used in chemical industry, environmental protection, metallurgy, medicine, papermaking , water supply and drainage and other industrial technology and management departments.

2. Working principle

The measuring tube of the High pressure electromagnetic flowmeter is a short non-magnetic stainless steel tube lined with insulating material. Two electrodes pass through the pipe wall along the pipe diameter and are fixed on the measuring pipe. Its electrode head is basically flush with the inner surface of the lining. When the excitation coil is excited by a bidirectional square wave pulse, a working magnetic field with a magnetic flux density of B will be generated in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the measuring tube. At this time, if a fluid with a certain conductivity flows through the measuring tube, it will cut the magnetic force line and induce an electromotive force E. The electromotive force E is proportional to the product of the magnetic flux density B, the inner diameter of the measuring tube d and the average flow velocity V. The electromotive force E (flow signal) is detected by the electrode and sent to the converter through the cable. After the converter amplifies the flow signal, it can display the fluid flow, and can output pulse, analog current and other signals for flow control and regulation.

In the formula, K and d are constants. Since the excitation current is a constant current, B is also a constant. It can be known from E=KBdV that the volume flow Q is proportional to the signal voltage E, that is, the signal voltage E induced by the flow rate is proportional to the volume flow Q linear relationship. Therefore, the flow Q can be determined as long as E is measured. This is the basic working principle of electromagnetic flowmeter.

It can be seen from E=KBdV that parameters such as the temperature, pressure, conductivity of the measured fluid medium, and the liquid-solid composition ratio of the liquid-solid two-phase fluid medium will not affect the measurement results. As for the flow state, as long as it conforms to axisymmetric flow (such as laminar flow or turbulent flow), it will not affect the measurement results. Therefore, the electromagnetic flowmeter is a real volume flowmeter. For manufacturers and users, as long as they are actually calibrated with ordinary water, they can measure the volume flow of any other conductive fluid medium without any correction. nothing. There are no moving and blocking parts in the measuring tube, so there is almost no pressure loss, and it has high reliability.
