1.Working Principle:
TUF2000M ultrasonic flowmeter adopts the principle of ultrasonic technology to measure liquid flow non-invasively and accurately. It works by sending an ultrasonic signal through the liquid and reflecting it back to the meter, thereby measuring the flow of the liquid through the pipe.
Flow meters use transducers to generate and receive ultrasonic signals. The sensor contains piezoelectric transducers that convert electrical energy into mechanical vibrations. TUF2000M uses the principle of Doppler frequency shift to calculate the flow of liquid. The transducer emits an ultrasonic signal at an angle to the direction of flow, producing a signal that is then reflected back to the transducer by particles in the liquid.
The meter then calculates the velocity of the liquid by comparing the frequency of the transmitted signal to the received signal, taking into account any changes caused by moving particles in the liquid. This method of calculation provides accurate flow measurement and is unaffected by changes in liquid density or viscosity.
This flow meter system is ideal for measuring liquids such as water, wastewater and chemicals in industrial and commercial processes or water systems.
