1.Working principle:

The working principle of the insertion electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. In the electromagnetic flowmeter, the conductive medium in the measuring tube is equivalent to the conductive metal rod in the Faraday test, and the two electromagnetic coils at the upper and lower ends generate a constant magnetic field. When a conductive medium flows, an induced voltage is generated. Two electrodes inside the pipe measure the induced voltage generated. The measuring pipe is electromagnetically isolated from the fluid and the measuring electrode by a non-conductive lining (rubber, Teflon, etc.).

2.Features:

3.Verification method:

The flowmeter method is the so-called flowmeter method, which is a method of calibrating only the measuring head of the plug-in flow sensor of the point flow type, and using the measuring head as a flowmeter.

The flowmeter method is to calibrate the entire insertion flow sensor, including the measuring head, insertion rod, insertion mechanism, converter and measurement pipeline, that is, the insertion flowmeter is regarded as a full pipe flowmeter and calibrated on the flow standard device Find the meter factor.

5.Installation conditions:

Plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter sensor installation upstream straight pipe section is not lower than 5D (D indicates pipe diameter), downstream straight pipe section is not lower than 2D:

●Vertical installation. When the sensor is inserted into the pipeline, the angle between the sensor and the vertical diameter of the pipeline section should be less than 5°. It is suitable for measuring clean media with small pipeline vibration.

●Inclined installation, the angle between the axis of the sensor and the axis of the pipe to be measured is 45°, which is suitable for measuring the flow of liquids with large pipe diameters and other impurities in the measurement medium. This installation method has small water resistance and is not suitable for entanglement.

There are two ways to insert the insertion point of the electromagnetic flowmeter sensor: one is to insert it on the central axis of the pipe to be tested (that is, 1/2 times the pipe diameter); the other is to insert it to the inner wall of the pipe at 1/4 of the pipe.

 

6.Sensor installation:

● Clean up the welding slag and burrs on the installation base of the tube under test.

●Turn off the upstream flow control valve or use low pressure water supply.

● Install the DN50 ball valve on the installation base, pay attention to the long cavity of the ball valve upwards, check whether the ball valve can be fully opened and closed, install the compression threaded seat, compression nut and rubber sealing ring on the ball valve, and loosen the positioning nut , Insert the sensor insertion rod through the ball valve into the pipeline under test, and at the same time, pay attention to the direction of the sensor direction indicator rod should be consistent with the fluid flow direction.
