1.Working Principle:

TUF2000B Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a very advanced and effective device, which uses ultrasonic waves to measure the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow of liquid in the pipeline. The operating principle is based on the time-of-flight measurement method, in which sound waves of a specific frequency are transmitted from one sensor to the other through the measured medium.
The measurement of the propagation time of ultrasonic waves between the transmitter and receiver sensors determines the flow rate of the medium in the pipeline. This flow meter consists of a pair of sensors: a transmitter and a receiver. Emitter sensors emit ultrasonic waves traveling in the direction of flow and receiver sensors detect these waves.
Ultrasonic flow meters measure the difference in velocity of ultrasonic waves and then calculate the velocity of the fluid in the pipe. Finally, the meter determines the volume of fluid that has passed through the pipe over a given period of time.
It is an accurate and reliable device, especially useful in applications where precision and reliability are critical. It is commonly used to measure water, beverages, etc., and various other industrial fluids, making it a critical tool in many industries. Easy to install without cutting or breaking pipes. The sensor does not come into contact with the liquid. It is widely used in industrial liquid measurement.

4.Quickly set measurement parameters:
Accurate measurement parameters have a great influence on measurement accuracy and reliability. It is recommended to measure the actual circumference and wall thickness of the pipe. Ultrasonic thickness gauges can be used to measure the thickness of pipes.

The measurement parameters are set from Menu10 to Menu29. Please fill in in order.

 

The following parameters need to be input before measurement:

※Outer diameter unit: mm
※Pipe thickness unit: mm
※Pipe material
※Lining parameters: thickness, sound velocity (if there is a lining)
※Liquid type
※sensor type
※Sensor installation type

 

The above parameters are generally set according to the following steps:
※Press MENU 1 1 to enter the M11 window to input the outer diameter of the pipe, then press
ENT key.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M12 window to input the outer diameter of the pipe, and then press the ENT key.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M14 window, and press the ENT key to enter the option selection mode.
Use the ▲/+ and ▼/- keys to select the pipe material, then press the ENT key.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M16 window, and press the ENT key to enter the option selection mode. use
Press the ▲/+ and ▼/- keys to select the lining material, then press the ENT key. Select “Unlined”,
If there is no liner.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M20 window, and press the ENT key to enter the option selection mode. use
Press the ▲/+ and ▼/- keys to select the appropriate liquid, then press the ENT key.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M23 window, and press the ENT key to enter the option selection mode. use
Use the keys ▲/+ and ▼/- to select the correct sensor type, then press the ENT key.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M24 window, and press the ENT key to enter the option selection mode. use
Press ▲/+ and ▼/- to select the appropriate sensor installation method, then press ENT.
※Press the ▼/- key to enter the M25 window to get the installation distance of the sensor.
※Press MENU 2 6 to save the parameter setting.
