1. Working principle:
Vortex meter is a device used to measure fluid flow. It works on the von Karman effect, which is that when fluid flows through an obstacle, a vortex is generated on the downstream side. These vortices alternate from one side to the other in a regular pattern.
The instrument has a blunt body that impedes the flow of fluid, creating vortices. These vortices cause pressure fluctuations that are detected by sensors placed on the sides of the body. The frequency of these pressure fluctuations is directly proportional to the fluid flow.

3. Application scope:

7. Installation requirements:
(1) The ambient temperature of the installation site should meet the technical requirements
(2) The installation location should not have strong vibration and strong magnetic field interference. Vibration reduction measures should be taken when there is strong vibration
For example, use vibration-absorbing supports or vibration-absorbing soft rubber pads.
(3) The installation location should ensure easy installation and maintenance.
(4) The area around the installation site should not be filled with corrosive gases or flooded.
(5) Avoid direct sunlight or exposure to the sun for long periods of time. In this case, necessary shading measures should be taken.
(6) The direction of the flow arrow on the sensor should be consistent with the direction of fluid flow in the pipe.
(7) When measuring liquid, make sure the pipeline is full. When vertical installation is required, the fluid should flow from bottom to top.
(8) The flow regulating valve should not be installed upstream of the flow meter, but should be installed downstream of the flow meter.
(9) The upper and lower parts should be configured with straight sections of sufficient length according to the site conditions.
