1.Working Principle:
The vortex type flow meter is a volume flow meter that measures the volume flow of gas, steam or liquid, the volume flow or mass flow of standard conditions, and is produced according to the Karman vortex street principle. It is mainly used for flow measurement of industrial pipeline media fluids, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media.
It is characterized by small pressure loss, large measuring range and high precision. It is almost not affected by parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature and viscosity when measuring volume flow in working conditions. There are no moving mechanical parts, resulting in high reliability and low maintenance. Instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. The vortex flowmeter adopts piezoelectric stress sensor, which has high reliability and can work in the working temperature range of -20℃~+250℃. It can be extended to +350°C. It has analog standard signal and digital pulse signal output. It is easy to be used with digital systems such as computers. It is a relatively advanced and ideal measuring instrument.
2.Applications:
*The flowmeter is widely used in various industries for the measurement of fluid flow. The principle of operation is that a vortex is created when the fluid flows over obstacles in the flow path. The frequency of these vortices is directly proportional to the fluid flow velocity.
*The meter is commonly used in the heat supply and gas industries to measure the flow of various fluids such as superheated steam, saturated steam, natural gas and other industrial fluids. Measuring steam uses temperature and pressure compensation, which can display mass units (such as: KG/H, ton/H), and also display the temperature and pressure of warm medium at the same time. Also used in chemical plants, food and beverage industries, pharmaceuticals, water and wastewater treatment plants, and HVAC applications.
*Additionally, vortex type flow meters are used in HVAC systems to measure the flow of air, gas and liquids in heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Additionally, water and wastewater treatment plants use vortex flowmeters to measure the flow of water, wastewater, and other liquids.
High accuracy and reliability provide a cost-effective measurement solution for many fluid flow applications.

Power supply: DC24VDC/12VDC, lithium battery 3.6V, if using pulse vortex + flow totalizer, the power supply can be 220VAC or 24VDC
